Daigo-ji is a Shingon Buddhist temple and well know for its cherry trees, there are approx 1,000 cherry trees in total. So this domain is highly recommended during the blooming season in April.  The most gorgeous places during this time are the cherry blossom tunnel at the approach of the temple, the weeping cherry trees in front of the pagoda, the Sanpoin and at the Reihokan Museum.
