UNESCO World Heritage Medal Collection

World Heritage sites are UNESCO’s legacy from the past, which we cherish today and hope to pass on to future generations.

In order to keep the legacy going, a new partnership has been formed between the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and National Tokens, one of the world’s leading souvenir coin distributors.

Together they are launching an ambitious project called the World Heritage Medal Collection. The World Heritage sites will create medals of its legacy, allowing visitors to partake in their history by taking home a souvenir.

Through these souvenir medals, World Heritage sites can provide a medal of remembrance for their visitors, all while helping raise awareness about their conservation needs and collecting funds.

30% of the generated revenue will be allocated to the particular UNESCO site and another 30% goes straight to the UNESCO World Heritage organisation.
